This made me think of when I got my first car, the chevy nova (no go). While there was no GWB in 1974 his predecessor, Richie Nixon, shared many of the same ideals.

ReplyDeleteMy first car was a '72 Ford (found on road dead) Capri (Capri est fini!). I wasn't too impressed with having to replace the clutch and the brakes in the first two months of owning it but for a 7 year old car, it was in pretty good shape.
